PG Capital Infrastructure Fund (PGCIF)

Designed for investors seeking exposure to the infrastructure sector. Our fund focuses on investments in infrastructure-related assets with the potential for stable and long-term growth. The Fund Management Team has highly skilled sector specialists with project finance and transaction execution credentials across Africa.
There is strong oversight on the activities of the Fund as provided by the Investment Committee and the Advisory Board.

The Fund investment focus includes; Aviation (terminals and other aviation infrastructure), Rails (rail tracks and rolling stocks), and Green Energy (renewable energy, solar energy, new energies).
The Fund invests inequities, hybrid instruments and corporate debt in the infrastructure space.

Phoenix Global Capital Fund Infrastructure is conceived as a closed-ended investment fund to invest in specific infrastructure-related assets and projects within Africa, focusing on Nigeria (the “Target Region”). The Fund aims to invest in infrastructure-related assets and projects in Nigeria that will meet targeted financial returns and contribute to the infrastructure stock in the country.
The Fund addresses the scarcity of equity and long-term debt for significant private sector-based infrastructure development by providing structured financing tailored to suit the typically longer-term nature of cash flow profiles arising in infrastructure. The Fund will be responsive to market needs by working with all participants (host governments, private sector sponsors, and non-governmental organizations alike) to create appropriate financing solutions to meet the challenges of private sector financing in the region, including where possible and appropriate the facilitation of local capital market involvement.
The Fund comprises an Equity & a Debt Fund and focuses on investing in greenfield & brownfield infrastructure projects, infrastructure-related businesses, and infrastructure companies, principally in Power Generation, Toll Roads, Port Infrastructure, Telecoms Infrastructure, and Water Resources to stimulate growth and diversification of the Nigerian economy, attract foreign investment and create jobs for Nigerians.

The Fund allows local investors to co-invest with international fund managers and benefit from creating a new asset class of infrastructure that will create value, generate income and achieve long-term capital appreciation for investors.
The Fund would be capitalized with the US Dollar equivalent of N100 billion.
